Free Reign Wins “Most Metal Athletes” at Revolver Golden God Awards

They may not have gotten the Lombardi Trophy at their day job this year but the Dallas Cowboys offensive linemen that comprise Free Reign took home some precious metal for their musical moonlighting, winning “Most Metal Athletes” at this year’s Revolver Golden God Awards. Marc Colombo, Leonard Davis and Cory Procter were on hand to receive the award, putting a nice touch on what has been a busy offseason for these Cowboys that usually would be pushing weights and enjoying their home time. In January they released their debut EP “Tragedy” through Riot Records and have been busy promoting it ever since.

If you’re in Texas you can hear Colombo and lead guitarist Justin Chapman’s Krankenstein rigs up close and personal when the band hits the stage April 30th for KISSfest in San Antonio, and you can see them receive their award May 22nd when the Gold Gods are broadcast on VH1. Their debut album “Tragedy” is available at Best Buy, Walmart, Target and online at amazon.com and iTunes, check it out!
