Temple, DJ – Without Mercy

KRANK GEAR USED: Krankenstein Amps

The newest “Kanadian” addition to the Krank family: WITHOUT MERCY lead guitarist DJ Temple who has been shredding up a storm on the Metal scene across Canada for the past 6 years and is no stranger to the metal elite in the Great White North.

His legion of followers is a devout group and his fans recognize pure talent when they hear it. DJ and the band recently had the privilege of being invited to open for Satyricon and Bleeding Through in Vancouver, to which they received rave reviews from local media. The band is currently enjoying their latest spread in the April 2010 issue of Tattoo Savage Magazine as the “What’s Da Buzz” band of the month alongside Municipal Waste and Dirge Within and they are prepping for a summer tour to support their debut self-tilted CD which Thrash Magazine stated “Guitarist DJ Temple is a very capable shredder, one particular standout is the guitar solo in the track Succumb. He solos over bass and drums only, no rhythm track, and it rocks in a very Pantera like way. I wish more bands could do this successfully.”

Nothing wrong with that.

Temple’s “Merciless” and impeccable playing draws comparisons to Dimebag Darrell, Nevemore’s Jeff Loomis and subtle tones of Andrés Segovia, When he’s not at his day job teaching guitar at Canada’s largest instrument retailer Long & McQuade, he can be found shopping for ear plugs for soon-to be wife Janelle, who is waiting patiently for DJ strike it rich. We’re kidding…kinda.

Without Mercy’s debut album is in stores now
