Well it would be a lot lower in volume, even if you did two 1x12s. One other thing you could try as well is to get hotplate where you can still cook the head at normal volumes but attenuate the hotplate and bring the sound levels down....

Yes you can daisy chain 2 cabs together with the second jack! As far as what the Rev Jr. can push it will do a 4x12 fairly well!

Hey, i got the old Krankenstein and the Rev 4x12 cab for a very low price, problem is i underestimated the loudness :D so i´m thinking about selling the 4x12 and getting this 1x12. My question is how the loudness of 1x12 is compared to the 4x12? with the 4x12 my maximum without killing my pets and neighbours is vol. at around 2 :(( so basically i´m not quite sure if it would make any sense to buy the 1x12

Right now we don't have plans for releasing the tube version, the timing for an expensive big tube head for bass just isn't right but it's deff something we're still considering for the future!

Hey Josh either of those heads will be a massive improvement over the Marshall for what you like to play, as to which one is the best it's kind of a matter of taste. The Rev + is a little cleaner sounding (yet very high gain) while the Krankenstein+ has more gain than even the Rev+ and sounds a bit more aggressive. I've seen metalcore bands use either one so it comes down what you might like in your overall sound...
