This year’s 2010 Winter NAMM Show proved to be one of Krank’s busiest with our booth filled daily with various artists, dealers, distributors and guitar afficiandos all stopping by to check out our new gear!
The Nineteen80 and Dirty Valve bass rig proved to be the hits of the show and the Nineteen80 was on display during some killer booth demos on that Saturday by Queensryche’s resident shredder Michael Wilton as well as Trixter’s Steve Brown, dazzling onlookers with some crazy fingerboard pyrotechnics. Friday’s artist action featured the uber popular Krankenstein Jr. in action with demos from Jeff Duncan and Phil Sandoval of LA metal legends Armored Saint as well as Rich Ward from Fozzy/Stuck Mojo bashing out a frenzied performance that was closer to a booth mosh pit then your normal demo…! Other artists stopping by to check out the amps were Mike Clark of Suicidal Tendencies, Chris Garza, Mark Helyman and Dan Kenny of Suicide Silence, Bobzilla of Hellyeah, Evil Dave from Morbid Angel,
Toad from All American Rejects (who btw will now be rocking the Nineteen80 at their upcoming TV performances at the Superbowl and Winter Olympics!), Alex Webster of Cannibal Corpse, wrestling superstar Chris Jericho, Sevendust producer Shawn Grove, Frank Watkins of Obituary and Gorgoroth, PJ and Sahaj from Ra and many others… Also be looking on the web for new product videos from Gearhounds and the Tone King to surface soon too as well as an in-depth interview with producer/guitarist Mike K (David Archuleta) on the Nineteen80!
Many manufacturers this year saw an increase in business which is a great sign after a very hard 2009 that was wrecked by our sagging economy and Krank was no different, having one of our best shows ever! So be looking for more great Krank products in more places in 2010! Also we wanted to thank all of the cool companies who helped support us at the show with gear and guitars for our booth including Spectraflex Cables, D’Addario strings, Morley pedals, Dunlop and MXR pedals, Charvel/Fender/Jackson Guitars, Schecter Guitars, Epiphone Guitars and Buddy Blaze!
