The Rev Jr. cabinet is one versatile little cab! It was originally designed as a studio cab prototype at the Krank factory and was used a lot during the development of the Rev Jr. heads. We liked the look and sound so much what was going to be a combo became a stack!

It features the same construction as the Rev 4×12, using a solid poplar shell and is loaded with the same premium Eminence Legend V12 speakers. Because the Legend is rated at 120W this cab easily handles full size heads as well and is ideal for home rehearsal, studio use, club gigs, or personal onstage monitoring.

KRANK GEAR USED: Rev Jr. head and cab, and very shortly… the Nineteen 80

A newly minted Krank convert, NYC based guitarist/singer-songwriter/producer Rob Bailey made the move to the compact Jr. series for its uncompromising mix of portability and tone … perfect in a city known for its unforgiving load-ins, limited storage space, and lack of cabs when you need ‘em…

…as an in-demand session guitarist, Rob Bailey’s credits include studio and live work with Mandy Moore, Billy Joel, Gavin Degraw, Anastacia, Ja Rule, Rev Run, and Cyndi Lauper, as well as hundreds of TV and radio commercials, and several movie soundtracks.

Recent highlights include appearances on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “The View” with Australian superstar Delta Goodrem (UMG/Decca), (http:www.krankamps.com/news/page/3),
guitar work on the international hit “Carry On” by Ben’s Brother (EMI/Relentless) …
- and a short (but very sweet) stint playing and singing b.v.’s with the one and only Aerosmith, during rehearsals for their 2009 tour ….

KRANK GEAR USED: Krankenstein+, Rev+, Rev and Krankenstein Cab, Nineteen80 Head and Cab, Rev Jr. Pro 20W and Cabs, Krankshaft, Distortus Maximus, Chadwick Head

Chuck Alkazian is the owner/operator of Pearl Sound Studios, a storied facility in Canton, MI that has produced classic recordings from the likes of Ted Nugent to Filter. Chuck has produced, engineered and or mixed for many artists of all genres including Pop Evil, Rookie Of The Year, Juvenile, Mitch Ryder, Universal Records, Sponge, Jerry Reid, Trigger Darlow, Elton John, The Dayton Family, Uncle Kracker, Obie Trice, 50 Cent, the Old 97’s, Vixen, K4, Shady Records, R. Kelly, Christina Aguilera, D12, Qwest Mcody, Dayton Family, The Dave Matthews Band, as well as many more.

First and foremost Chuck is fan of all music, making him walking encyclopedia of bands and songs from all genres. Sit him down at a piano and you’ll know how diverse his musical tastes are! Growing up in the Detroit area in the 70’s, like many other kids of the day the musical circus that was KISS had a profound impact on him and he started his path towards a career in music. His instrument of choice is the drums but he’s a very capable multi-instrumentalist, ready to lend his talents to the records he produces.

A firm believer that the relationship between the artist and producer is the most important part of capturing great music, Chuck prides himself on being able to work with all types of personalities and help them bring out their best in the recording process. Besides his producing Chuck currently is also the drummer and song writing partner in alt-country act Trigger Darlow and is preparing the release of their first record, due out later in 2009.
